I'm not sure about you, but I have always had a strong desire and passion to learn. When I decided to venture into the tricky world of photography it seemed to me that there was going to be a steep learning curve, but I dove right in anyway. What I found was that as I grew more and more comfortable with my camera and photography in general I began to be a little more bold and daring with my captures. The pictures below are from a family gathering this past weekend. They contain pictures of my wife and brother in law "playing with fire" :) and a beautiful picture that conveys warm glowing feelings of gathering around the bonfire (pictured below). These are the types of images that I have always wanted to capture. Images that are different. Images that are more than just snapshots. Images that convey a sense of fun, adventure and excitement. Images that seemed miles away when I first began this journey. Photography, like anything else is a journey and I am just going to take that journey one step at a time and enjoy every minute of it! That being said I encourage you no matter what you are doing to just keep going. Learn and grow and take everything a day at at a time, but no matter what just keep pressing forward, never forgetting the passion that drove you to embark on your journey in the first place. Then you'll be right where I am, ready for whatever that next step happens to be.
