Okay it took a little longer than I thought, but here is the 2nd blog post on Our First Christmas Tree.  Decorating the Christmas tree, which this blog post is about, is by far the best part about having a Christmas tree.  Kristina and I are big fans of red and green, classic Christmas colors, so we decided to go with red and white ornaments for our tree and were quite happy with how they looked.  What do you think?  We also decided to go with warm lights, but they weren't all that warm so we have since returned them and now have warmer lights :) However, these pictures are with the old ones, trust me it looks so much better now! As soon as we got home from Elizabeth Farms with our tree it was time to dress it up. I mean Christmas seems to come so fast, so we wanted to have it up as long as we could.  FYI, we have had the Christmas decorations for our apartment up since Thanksgiving, for the same reason.  So anyway, back to the tree...we turned on some Christmas music classics and got our tree in the tree stand and then started by putting on the lights.  Then came the fun part, putting up the ornaments.  My wife and I had to choose the perfect spots for the ornaments, so every gap was filled in and all the ornaments were distributed evenly, yes were those kind of people :) The Christmas tree is probably one of my favorite Christmas traditions and always will be and l will always treasure the first Achey Christmas tree and look forward to more and more of them as the years go by.  How do you decorate your tree?  What are your favorite traditions?  Let me know in the comments and thanks for stopping by.
